I couldn't agree more, far too often I find myself leaving a ship in a POS force field and having it simply flown away or even scooped up by a carrier, I know there are Ship Maintenance arrays but again anyone in your corp or alliance could have access to your resources, anchoring ships in space especially at SOP's would add both a useful function to the game as well as add to the "feel" of the game something that EVE is responsible for successfully achieving. Password locking ones skip can also be an extremely useful tool that goes hand in hand with anchoring. I approve this idea  |

it should take longer to hack ships with long passwords (duh).
to hack you need to lock (eg; not possible under forcefield).
Password required to board/scoop.
Once hacked its as if there was no password at all.
Due to low activity in the ship core it should send out a weak reading (read: be harder to scan down maybe use exploration probes to locate anchored ships? not show up on directional scanners at all since its basicly offline?)
Hacking should be allowed in free space however at the pos the advanced computer linking would prevent users from being able to hack a ship inside the pos bubble, or to allow an unauthorized user to pull it out of the ship maintanence array
